All our jewellery is handmade. The quality control of each piece of jewellery leaving the workshop is carried out by Valérie Danenberg herself.
WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME?
Your jewel is usually made within 5 to 6 weeks (except for special orders and some exceptions).
CAN I HAVE MY JEWELRY ENGRAVED?
This is possible if the jewelry model allows it. All you have to do is send your text to the following e-mail address: email@example.com. For engraved wedding rings, you can do it directly on the site.
DO YOU USE WHITE GOLD OR PLATINUM?
All our jewelry is available in all three colours of gold. For white gold, we use palladium gold which is stronger, whiter and less expensive than platinum.
WHAT IS THE PRICE OF A CUSTOM-MADE RING?
Custom-made jewellery offers you the possibility to create a personalised piece of jewellery that fits your wishes and your budget.
The estimate will be established according to the weight of the precious stones, the gold and the work to be done. The latter will be communicated to you by the creator.
WHAT DO THE LITTLE MARKS ON THE BACK OF YOUR JEWELRY REPRESENT?
Our jewelry is hallmarked. The French standard imposes the state hallmark for the title of gold since the 18th century, represented by an eagle's head for 18-carat gold. It is affixed to the outside of the ring of rings or to the inside of jewelry. Our master jewelry's hallmark is placed next to it. It consists of our initials and the Eiffel Tower as a central symbol.

Online payment is secured by BNP Paribas (Visa, Mastercard and Diners).
We accept payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard and Diners) and bank transfers.
IS SHOPPING ON THE SITE SECURE?
All your purchases on our site are secured by BNP Paribas.
WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?
We deliver in France and in Europe. Delivery outside the EU is possible, please contact us in this case.
IS DELIVERY FREE?
Yes, but only in Europe. Please contact us for any country outside the EU.
IS THE RETURN FREE?
The return is free of charge for France and the European Union. The return costs are at our expense if all the procedures described in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale are followed.
CAN I COLLECT MY JEWELRY FROM THE SHOP?
If you wish, we will contact you as soon as your jewel is ready. You can take possession of it from Monday to Saturday, between 11am and 7pm.
WHAT IS THE DELIVERY TIME?
The delivery time, in France and in Europe, is 5 working days once the manufacture of the jewel is completed. However, this may be longer if the service providers with whom we collaborate encounter difficulties beyond our control.

IS THE DELIVERY SECURE?
We ship our creations with declared value via the Post Office or Fedex. The packages are fully insured by us.
WHAT IF MY RING DOESN'T FIT?
The classic size of your jewel will be offered to you within 30 days after its reception. This is possible for up to two sizes and for all rings with a gold band (except for band and diamond rings). If the jewel has already been sent back for sizing, it will not be offered.
The normal sizing consists of cutting the ring with a laser so that it can be reduced to the required size and welded without any visible trace. To enlarge it, we do the same thing, adding the required metal to increase the diameter of the ring. We have developed different techniques for special 'sizing'. They fit all finger shapes. However, they do come at a cost, which you will be charged for according to the weight of gold added.
We have elaborated this technique for particular cases of people having larger joints, sometimes due to arthritis. The size of the small bridges will be adapted to your finger. This technique enables you to slip on your ring sideways between the bridges hence reducing the rotation of the band so that the ring is stabilized on top. The extra cost involves the addition of gold.
WHAT IF I NEED TO REPAIR MY JEWELRY?
Annual or biennial revision of the jewel:
We strongly advise you to bring us your jewel every 1 or 2 years depending on the use you make of it. Indeed, it undergoes involuntary shocks linked to the simple gestures of everyday life. We will be able to check that the claws are holding well and detect any other defects or wear on the metal, scratches, etc. We will offer you a professional ultrasonic cleaning in our workshop. You will also have the possibility to ask for a polishing or any other repair which will be charged to you.
We have created a "Poli Rhodiage package" valid for one year, at a price of 100 euros. This offer entitles you to two Rhodium Polishes per year, for two jewels of your choice (the price is usually 150 euros each).
For all orders, we offer a one-year guarantee against defects and hidden faults. All our jewels are designed and conceived by the creator and then manufactured in our Parisian workshops, under the expert eye of the creator who carries out the quality control herself.
It is preferable to visit us for any revision, after-sales service of your jewel or in case of a hidden defect or fault. Our gemmologist will examine the jewel to see if it is a mistake on our part. In this case, the insurance against hidden defects will be applied and we will take care of the repair and the return of your jewel. This guarantee is valid for 1 year.
After this period, any hidden defect cannot have remained undetected. A problem with your jewel several years after its purchase can only be the result of poor handling (shock, impact, etc.). This guarantee does not apply to any jewel that has been the subject of an operation (sizing, etc.) carried out in a workshop other than that of the VD House.
If your jewel requires to be repaired and it is not due to a hidden issue on our part, but rather to an impact, scratch, dent or other incident occurred while wearing it, you will be charged according to an estimate from our workshop.
We invite you to contact us and we will tell you how to send us your jewel. On receipt, our gemmologist
will carry out an expertise and draw up an estimate with his workshop in order to establish the cost of the repairs.
Once the estimate has been accepted by the customer, our workshop will repair your jewel and return it to you as soon as possible.
