Resizing
Traditional resizing is possible within a limit of two sizes for all rings with a gold band, with the exception of wide band-style models or rings set with diamonds around the entire circumference. For these specific models, other resizing techniques may be considered.
Standard resizing
Traditional resizing consists of laser-cutting the ring's band so it can be reduced to the required size and soldered without any visible trace. To make it larger, we perform the same operation by adding the required metal to increase the band's diameter.
We have developed various techniques for special size adjustments. These adapt to all finger shapes. However, these size adjustments represent a cost that will be billed to you based on the weight of the added gold.
Small gold bridges
The second specific resizing technique consists of soldering two small gold bridges inside the ring. They are suitable for people with a medium to large difference between the knuckle and the finger joint, particularly in cases of osteoarthritis. The size of the bridges will be adjusted according to the finger. The ring is consequently stabilized and the stone stays on top of the finger. This technique makes it possible to slip the ring on at an angle, between the bridges, in order to reduce its rotation.
